A pair of COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be held this coming Wednesday. One will focus on high school students while the other is open to the general population.
Kalamazoo Public Schools is partnering with the Kalamazoo County Department of Health and Community Services to hold a vaccine clinic Wednesday afternoon at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center.
Students age 16 and up are eligible to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. Anyone under age 16 will have their appointments rejected.
The registration link isn’t being shared publicly, but an email was sent out last week to KPS families with registration information.
At the same time, the Portage Senior Center has partnered with Advanced Health Pharmacy to plan a drive-through vaccine clinic. Appointments are open to anyone age 18 or older. Only first shots will be given at the time, but a second clinic is being scheduled in June to complete the vaccination.
People can register by calling (269) 329-4555.
